Development of Consolidated Order Processing Workflow System:

  • Ace initiated this project by carrying out a detailed study of the customer business and then listing down all the functional specification of the new proposed system. Once that was approved by customer, we then took up the task of detailed technical specification, architecture and DB design of the entire system. Thereafter software development of the system was initiated with predefined milestones and working demo of the system was provided to the customer from time to time.

Customer Need:

Customer has several sales channels like their own Volusion eCommerce Store, Amazon & eBay reseller accounts, PayPal account and offline telephonic orders. The challenge was to check all the orders on different platforms, process them for dispatch and fulfillment individually. This resulted in a lot of duplication of effort and losing the consolidated view of daily orders and fulfillment to be carried out. So customer required one single system that can fetch orders from all the different technology platforms and allows them to review & process from one central location/system.
